Wordpress: Guests can post in WordPress too… now
The Dead One has released the TDO Mini Forms plugin that allow wordpress’s blogs administrators to easily accept guest posts.
This is a plugin for Wordpress that allows you to add a form to your website that allows non-registered users and/or subscribers (configurable) to submit posts. The posts are then in “draft†until an admin can publish them.
The form has fields for submitters to give an email address so that they will be notified when their post is published. Information about the submitter is stored as custom fields on the post. If the submitter is a registered user who can publish posts themselves, then when they use the form, the posts are automatically published.
Features:
- The plugin has a moderation view so you can see all the posts awaiting approval and have already been published.
- You can ban specific users and IPs from using the form.
- You can “trust†specific users ( when they use the form, their posts are automatically published ).
- Users that can already publish, when they use the form, their posts are automatically published.
