Description:
WP Ajax Edit Comments (for WP 2.1+) allows users and admins alike to edit comments on a post. Users can edit their own comments for a period specified by the admin, and admins can edit all post comments. What better way to show reader appreciation than letting the readers edit their own typos?
Please use caution when using this plugin for the first time and be sure to test various characters, especially if your blog isn’t UTF-8. This plugin needs to also have mbconvertencoding enabled. Since version 1.1.3, there is an option in the admin panel to disable this, but still be sure to test various characters.
For a demonstration, please check out the videos listed over here.

I am the author of Ajax Edit Comments. Although the plugin is under GPL and is able to be listed here, I do not (and will never) support or endorse the version available for download here.
If you want to keep up to date, please visit the official download location for Ajax Edit Comments.

Hello there Ronald. Thank you for sharing your point of view.
I want to host all the downloads listed on the site because I want to be sure they can be downloaded in any moment. I used to use some plugins ( wordpress’s or other cms ) and after a while I couldn’t find them anywhere on the net ( the domain was deleted or bought by another person, the server chocked and no backup was made - see here the http://www.inmypad.com case, with the plugin iMP Download ). So this is the main cause of hosting the .zip files of the plugins.
Second, when a plugin is updated, we will also update it on BloggerGuide, and will also keep all the versions.
Third, I think it is quite easily to see that we are not having any copyright notices on the plugins. We take no credits for this plugins. We don’t alter in any mode the archived file of the plugin ( as I said in a comment over here. And the answer was the one I expected. We link to the author and the plugin’s homepage and it is made in a manner that couldn’t add any confusion to users where the plugin is officially hosted.
Fourth, what is so ironic in using your plugin? I think this is why the plugin is made. To be used. And we use this great plugin.
Fifth, I want to thank you again for the comments.

Eugen,
Thanks for the response. As I stated in my RAProject post, this site is not in the wrong for having or hosting this plugin. I just am not able to provide any support for the downloadable version on this site.
Let me explain the irony and you can correct me if I’m wrong:
The download version on this site is to 1.1.3. I released 1.1.4 on Saturday. You are using WordPress 2.3.2, which enables you to receive updates on the “Plugins” page when there is a new version. WordPress gets this information from WP Extend (which this page came from), which is where the latest official release is located.
I just found that above situation ironic.
On a side note, the two videos listed in this post no longer exist on the server. If you wish, you can link to my Ajax Edit Comments demo videos.
I would still prefer you to link to the location on WP Extend to keep the stats in one place, but it’s your site and you do as you wish. Thanks.

It is such a pity I can’t see the updates in the main dashboard page… I can go more and more over this, but I was caught in action.
Your plugin download link is now redirected to WP Extend location.
Demo videos updated, as the plugin will be in just couple of seconds.
Thanks.
